Melanie and David at Mottram Hall
We had been looking forward to Melanie and David`s wedding, A church ceremony held at St. Mary`s church in the quiet little village of Nether Alderly, Cheshire. Then on to Mottram Hall to get the celebration under way.
Although the weather was a little cold and wet it did not dampen spirits, the bride and groom were surrounded with all their wonderful friends and family.
We met the girls for bridal prep in the morning at Mottram Hall, no stress, everyone was enjoying themselves getting ready and enjoying the bubbly. As usual the flower girls were taking centre stage stopping for the camera showing the bridesmaids how it`s done.
Over at the church all seemed very relaxed as family and friends took to their seats while the groom and grooms men waited outside before being called in as the bridesmaid were on route.
Melanie and her bridesmaids arrived at the church and the ceremony was underway with some readings.
After the ceremony we stayed around the church grounds for the group shots and the confetti shot.
Mottram Hall is always a great place to photograph a wedding especially in the summer when the gardens re in full bloom, however a winter wedding still brings some great shots with all the ever greens around the gardens, ideal for capturing the moments of a cold winter wedding.
The new bride and groom arrived at Mottram Hall to a Champange reception with a short time to mingle with their guests before heading out to the gardens to get some shots as daylight was quickly fading. We were with them around 30 minutes and took some fantastic shots of them around the gardens.
We finished the day of with the speeches and the cutting of the cake then on to the first dance before heading home x
